Our Approach

The Muscle Auditor takes a strategic approach to fitness.
We focus on targeting and progressing each of your muscles and joints. Far too many people deal with pains and bodily sensations that they don't like, and much of the time it stems from a poorly functioning muscular system. By utilizing an understanding of exercise mechanics, human anatomy, and the idea of MicroProgression®, we improve the body one piece at a time in order to strengthen the entire system.

Our Principles

  • 1. Every body is different.
In skeletal structure, health history, psychological makeup, body view, and many other ways there are vast differences between one person's body and another.
  • 2. The body is never the same.
Day-to-day, workout to workout, rep to rep, the body is constantly receiving sensory inputs to manage appropriate outputs given what the body can handle at that moment.
  • 3. The body is a complex system of integrated parts.
The muscular system is not the hormonal system is not the skeletal system is not the nervous system. They do, however, interact in symphony with each other. As such, the impact of exercise on each system must be taken into account.
  • 4. Exercise is physics applied to the body.
Joints are points of rotation and muscles create motion around those points. As such, we do not select exercises out of a book. We build exercises around how your unique body is built to move and train specific tissue.

Our Founder

Kyle Goemmer
Kyle loves being an exercise problem solver. Since high school, he has consistently asked “Why?” “Why does my back hurt when I do this exercise but not when I make this small adjustment?” His curiosity was so relentless that his trainer and mentor encouraged him to pursue a degree in exercise science. And so, Kyle did just that. He graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Sports Medicine. To this day, he continues to expand his knowledge through courses in Muscle Activation Techniques and Resistance Training Specialist classes.

Kyle works with clients of all walks of life, though two groups have become a focus of his work. His history in high school and Division 1 baseball environments has enabled him to guide young ballplayers, helping them understand their bodies so they can perform at their best while building resilience against injury and stress. Kyle also loves teaching individuals who are working back from significant injury or surgery their new body rules to trust their body and get back to the activities they love.
